Prime Minister Sali Berisha received today the outgoing ambassador of Denmark to Albania, H.E. Karsten Ankjaer Jensen at the end of his mission to our country.
PM Berisha thanked ambassador Jensen for his role and contribution to improvement of the bilateral relations between the two countries and wished him success in the new office.
Likewise, PM Berisha expressed grateful thanks for the priceless help that Denmark has provided Albania over the recent 20 years in promotion of democracy, the NATO membership of the country and its European integration journey.
Ambassador Jensen thanked PM Berisha for the warm hospitality and also appreciated highly the government of Albania support to accomplishment of his mission in our country.
The interlocutors reconfirmed the willingness of the two governments to promote cooperation in the future in the best interest of the two countries.
PM Berisha put on a dinner in honor of ambassador Jensen. Attending the event were other representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Albania.
